WILLIAM KALEI KUAIWA, III

Mr. Kuaiwa received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from American Intercontinental University in 2005. He was awarded his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center and was licensed to practice law in Texas in 2020.

During law school, Mr. Kuaiwa was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution team and Treasurer of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators Student Chapter. Mr. Kuaiwa also interned as a law clerk for The Honorable Judge Christine Weems in the 281st District Court in Harris County.

Before joining Daw & Ray, Mr. Kuaiwa had a long and distinguished career in the United States Air Force. His final assignment was Operations Superintendent for the 111th Attack Squadron, Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base Texas. In September of 2020, Mr. Kuaiwa retired as a Senior Master Sergeant after 26 years of service.

Mr. Kuaiwa’s areas of concentration include personal injury, premises liability, commercial liability, and first and third-party insurance defense.
