Mr. Demary grew up in Lake Charles, Louisiana and obtained his Bachelor’s degree from McNeese State University in 1999. While attending McNeese State University, he met his wife, Candace, and followed her to Houston, Texas and then to South Texas College of Law (now South Texas College of Law Houston).  He obtained his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law in 2004.

While in law school, Mr. Demary had the honor of clerking for the 157th Judicial District Court, Harris County, Texas (the Honorable George C. Hanks, Jr.) and the 152nd Judicial District Court, Harris County, Texas (the Honorable Ken Wise).

Mr. Demary became licensed to practice law in the State of Texas in 2004. He is also admitted to practice law before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas.

Before joining Daw & Ray, L.L.P. in June 2010, Mr. Demary worked for another civil litigation firm in Houston for six years, where he obtained extensive experience. He is currently a member of the American Bar Association, Texas Bar Association and Houston Bar Association.  Mr. Demary enjoys mentoring young associates.  He also volunteered his time and helped teach a course on the ins and outs of depositions at the University of Houston Law Center as an assistant adjunct professor for years.    

Mr. Demary has extensive experience in a number of substantive areas of legal practice, including construction defect, commercial litigation, products liability, premises liability, personal injury and wrongful death. He regularly represents businesses, corporations and individuals in complex, multi-million dollar lawsuits all across the state of Texas.

Mr. Demary has been married to his wife, Candace, for over 20 years.  They reside in Houston with their two children.
