Mr. Shaw received a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio in 1991. He obtained his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Western State University in Fullerton, California and was licensed to practice law in Ohio in 2000 and in Texas in 2023.

Before joining Daw & Ray, LLP in May of 2023, Mr. Shaw worked for the County Prosecutor’s Office, a Plaintiff’s civil litigation firm in Dayton, Ohio, handling personal injury claims, and civil litigation as a private practitioner. Mr. Shaw is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas, State Bar of Ohio, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court in the Southern District of Ohio, Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Shaw’s areas of concentration include personal injury, insurance defense, and criminal defense.
