SULEHA F. SHAIKH

Ms. Shaikh is a partner at Daw & Ray, LLP. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English from The University of Texas at Austin in 2008 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from The University of Houston Law Center in 2015. She was also licensed to practice law in the State of Texas in 2015 and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas.

During law school, Ms. Shaikh was an active member of the moot court team and successfully competed in numerous moot court competitions across the nation. She also received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for Legal Research and Writing, Pre-trial Litigation, and Contracts Law.

Before joining Daw & Ray, LLP, Ms. Shaikh worked at a national insurance defense law firm and handled personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, non-subscriber, subrogation, ERISA, Longshore and Harbors Workers’ Compensation Act, Defense Base Act, and Texas Workers’ Compensation Act matters.

At Daw & Ray, LLP, Ms. Shaikh’s practice is focused on handling personal injury, premises liability, products liability, commercial liability, first and third-party insurance defense, and appellate matters.

Ms. Shaikh is a member of the Houston Bar Association, Houston Young Lawyers Association, and Texas Young Lawyers Association.
