John received a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX. He obtained his Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary’s University School of Law and was licensed to practice law in Texas in 2023. 

Before joining Daw & Ray, LLP in October 2024, Mr. Lopez worked for a Plaintiff’s civil litigation firm in Bryan, Texas assisting with construction defect claims. Mr. Lopez also previously served in the Texas Army National Guard. Mr. Lopez is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court in the Western District.

Areas of concentration include personal injury and premises liability.
