Ms. Yancy received her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the Texas A&M University in College Station in 2012. She obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary’s University and was licensed to practice law in Texas in 2015. Ms. Yancy is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court in the Western and Southern Districts of Texas.

Before joining Daw & Ray, LLP in July of 2019, Ms. Yancy worked for a Plaintiff’s civil litigation firm in San Antonio, Texas, handling medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, and birth injury claims. Ms. Yancy has been selected as a Rising Star Lawyer by San Antonio Scene Magazine in 2019, 2022, and 2023, and selected as a Rising Star Lawyer by Super Lawyers in 2019, 2020, and 2023.

Ms. Yancy’s areas of concentration include personal injury, premises liability, commercial liability, and first and third party insurance defense.
