C. THOMAS VALENTINE, JR.

Mr. Valentine has been a Partner in the firm since 2001. He is certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Personal Injury Trial Law and has achieved Martindale Hubbell’s highest rating of “AV” for legal ability and ethical standards based on both judicial and peer review. Prior to joining Daw & Ray, L.L.P. in 1999, Mr. Valentine handled personal injury, construction defect, and commercial litigation matters and has successfully tried many personal injury and commercial cases.

At Daw & Ray, L.L.P., Mr. Valentine’s practice has shifted toward defending complex multi party litigation. He also continues to maintain an active trial docket and has successfully tried numerous personal injury cases. He has a diverse client base including large and small insurance companies, corporations, and small business owners. He practices throughout the State of Texas and has tried cases in several Texas counties.

Mr. Valentine’s areas of concentration include commercial, personal injury, and property damage litigation/arbitration arising from construction defect, premises liability, toxic tort, products liability, and commercial and personal auto liability claims.

Mr. Valentine graduated from the University of Houston in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in American Jurisprudence and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in 1992. While at South Texas College of Law, he was a member of the national honors legal fraternity, Phi Delta Phi. He became licensed to practice law in the State of Texas in 1993 and is also admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
