KIMBERLY R. GRAVES
Mrs. Graves received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Legal Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary’s University School of Law, Magna cum laude, and was licensed to practice law in Texas in 2017.
While in law school, Mrs. Graves was on the Dean’s List regularly, held leadership positions including Vice President of the Women’s Law Association, and worked as a research assistant to a distinguished law professor focusing on contract, corporation, and warranty issues. Mrs. Graves was awarded the St. Mary’s University Presidential Award, an honor reserved for 15 students school-wide, and the Rock of Justice Award. She was an active participant in pro bono activities, which she continues in her practice today.
Mrs. Graves began her legal career in a position advising financial institutions on federal regulations, compliance, and legal issues. Immediately before joining Daw & Ray, LLP, she worked for an insurance company handling all aspects of first and third party insurance litigation. She is currently a member of the William S. Sessions American Inn of Court and the State Bar of Texas.
Mrs. Graves’ areas of concentration include personal injury, premises liability, commercial liability, and first and third party insurance defense.
