J. ROSS BROUSSARD
Mr. Broussard received both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in psychology from the University of Louisiana – Lafayette. Thereafter, he worked as a clinical psychotherapist whose areas of concentration included neuropsychological examinations, psychological risk assessments, and adult and substance abuse therapy. While working as a psychotherapist, he consulted with attorneys regarding criminal law matters as well as medical disability and personal injury claims which included administering numerous neuropsychological tests to evaluate a client’s cognition, malingering, personality, and aptitude.
After several years working as a clinical psychotherapist, Mr. Broussard subsequently attended law school and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law and was licensed to practice law in the state of Texas in 2011. While in law school, Mr. Broussard provided jury consulting services with several consulting firms including Jury Focus and Decision Quest. Prior to joining Daw & Ray, L.L.P., Mr. Broussard worked at a Houston firm that focuses on healthcare litigation, medical malpractice, and personal injury defense. In addition, he has performed jury consulting for many law firms involving a wide range of legal issues that include personal injury defense, premises liability issues, and transactional issues.
Mr. Broussard’s areas of concentration include personal injury, premises liability, construction defect, and commercial litigation.
