Danielle L. ChesterMs. Chester received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Auburn University. She obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence and a Diploma in Comparative Law from Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2016 and was licensed to practice law in Texas the same year.

While in law school, Ms. Chester was a member of LSU Law’s Trial Advocacy Board where she competed and later coached the traveling arbitration team. Before joining Daw & Ray, LLP, she worked for a firm in Houston representing homeowners associations in collection and deed restriction actions. Ms. Chester is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas, the American Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association - San Antonio Chapter. She is admitted to practice before the United States District Court in the Southern District of Texas.

Ms. Chester’s areas of concentration include personal injury, premises liability, commercial liability, and first and third party insurance defense.

The State Bar of Texas, through the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, does designate attorneys as board certified in various areas of law. Willie Ben Daw, III, James L. Ray, and C. Thomas Valentine are board certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. No other attorneys associated with Daw & Ray are board certified in any field recognized by the State Bar of Texas.
