Ms. Cedillo received a Bachelor of Arts in English, Philosophy, and Political Science from the University of Texas-Pan American in 2009. She obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Texas Southern University and was licensed to practice law in Texas in 2014.
While in law school, Ms. Cedillo was actively involved in Mock Trial, Board of Advocates, and the Hispanic Law Students Association. Before joining Daw & Ray, LLP in October 2017, Ms. Cedillo was co-owner of a law firm in Port Arthur, Texas and worked on numerous cases involving; child protective services, criminal, divorce and custody issues, immigration, personal injury, probate, and real estate. Ms. Cedillo also served as board of directors as the minority director for the Jefferson County Young Lawyer’s Association in 2016-2017. Ms. Cedillo is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Bar College and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court in the Eastern, Southern, and Western Districts of Texas. Ms. Cedillo has also been a certified mediator since 2013.
Ms. Cedillo’s areas of concentration include personal injury, premises liability, commercial liability, and first and third party insurance defense.
