ALLISON R. MILLER
Ms. Miller received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from the University of Houston, graduating summa cum laude with membership in The Honors College. She was the recipient of a full scholarship as a National Merit Finalist. She obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Boston University School of Law, where she received a full tuition scholarship as a Dean’s Scholar. Ms. Miller was licensed to practice law in Texas in 2010.
While in law school, Ms. Miller was a note editor for the Public Interest Law Journal and a co-president of Shelter Legal Service’s Boston University Section, serving homeless veteran’s legal needs in the Boston area. She received a provisional law license while in her third year of law school and actively represented multiple clients as a student attorney. Before joining Daw & Ray, L.L.P. in August 2015, Ms. Miller had a broad range of civil litigation experience. She most recently worked for a notable personal injury attorney, handling all aspects of litigation, including serving as second chair counsel in a case resulting in a seven-figure jury verdict for her client. Ms. Miller is active in the legal community and is a member of the Texas Bar College, an honorary society for lawyers in Texas. Ms. Miller also served on the Arts and Entertainment Committee for the Houston Young Lawyer’s Association from 2011-2014. Ms. Miller is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court in both the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas.
Ms. Miller’s areas of concentration include general civil litigation, personal injury, premises liability, products liability, commercial litigation, construction defects and insurance defense.
